Gill Shaw spoke about the work of WellFound, and the transformation in the lives of women and children in West Africa through the provision of clean water. Gill is a professional photographer and trustee of WellFound. WellFound is a water and sanitation charity founded in 2005 by a member of the church…
Mission update
On March 24th we were delighted to welcome back Simon and Ursula who were sent from this church to work in Ilford. We always look forward to their visits when they report back on their work and on what God is doing. A recording of the sermon is available on request. Please contact office@lifeinseergreen.org.
Reasons to be Holy
On 17th March Andrew spoke from 1 Peter chapter 1, and concentrated specifically on the reasons which Peter gives for why we should be holy.
Life before death
On March 10th Andrew continued our series on “becoming children of God” by speaking from Peter’s second letter, chapter 1. He spoke about how we can seek to become more like Jesus in this life.
Don’t look back
On 3rd March we were delighted to welcome Dave Criddle from Gold Hill Church. Dave continued our study of the book of Philippians, speaking from chapter 3, verses 4 to 14. The theme was we shouldn’t define ourselves by what we have done, but rather by what Jesus has done for us.
