Festival of Tabernacles
On Sunday 15th October Andrew picked up on our recent harvest theme, and spoke about the great Jewish Festival of Tabernacles. In particular he covered two of Jesus’ great sayings as recounted in John 7 and 8: “I am the Light of the World“; “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from…

The Kingdom of God
On Sunday 10th September, Andrew started a new series on the Kingdom of God by looking at the Gospel of the Kingdom from Matthew 4: “Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and illness among the people.”
Crossing the River Jordan – a step of faith

Our vision
Our mission: “To go, to win, to grow – making disciples of Jesus” Our vision: “To be a fruitful community which is rooted in God’s love; is faithful to God’s word; is equipped by God’s Spirit; to share the good news of Jesus with the people of Seer Green and beyond.”

On 25th June, at the end of this series, it was lovely to welcome back Chris Justice from Hope Church in Beaconsfield who spoke from Psalm 51: “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.”
Get serious
On 18th June, we were delighted to welcome back Jon Bishop who is currently Children and Youth Minister at Croxley Green Baptist Church. Jon grew up in our church, became a Christian, and for a while ran our youth group. He spoke from Hebrews 11 and 12 about how we need to encourage each other, get serious about our faith, and not give up.
Are we ready?
On 11th June, having followed the account from Passover via Ascension to Pentecost, we paused to consider what we had covered and to consolidate. Gill Roberts led us to consider a series of questions around the theme of “are we ready and prepared for God to change us?”
