The Word of Life
Andrew spoke on the phrase “that which we have heard”. God speaks to us today through his Word. How do we listen?
The Word of Life
Andrew started by giving an overview of this passage in 1 John: “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched – this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.”
How many loaves do you have?
On November 20th, Andrew covered the final question from Jesus in our sermon series on “A Fresh Vision of Jesus” when he spoke about the feeding of the 4,000: “How many loaves do you have?” We were challenged to consider what we can bring to the work.
Persistent prayer
On November 6th, Andrew returned to the topic of persistent prayer. Are we too polite in prayer? Jesus teaches us to pray shamelessly, audaciously, boldly and persistently. The recording starts as Andrew asks Lesley, one of our fellowship, to share about the importance of persistent prayer in her life.
What do you want me to do for you?
On October 30th, we were challenged about the importance of persistent and persevering prayer as Andrew spoke to us about Jesus’ question: “What do you want me to do for you?”
Do you believe I can do this?
On October 9th, Andrew moved onto to talk about our faith, and particularly the question that Jesus asks us “Do you believe I can do this?”

The passage in John 21 deals with Jesus asking Peter three times, “do you love me?”. Each time Peter replies that he…
Who do you say I am?
On September 25th, Andrew addressed the first main question which Jesus asked his disciples, and which He asks us today: “Who do you say I am?”
A fresh vision of Jesus
Our new pastor, Andrew, has already been asked what his vision is for the church. Whilst that is an good question, even more important is the question “What is our vision of Jesus?” Everything else will flow from our answer to that question. At the start of this new chapter in the life of our church, we are going to spend several weeks looking at this question. On…
Induction service for Andrew McCausland
We are delighted that Andrew McCausland has answered God’s call to be our new pastor. Andrew has come from Minehead where he has been senior minister of Minehead Baptist Church for the past ten years. On Sunday 11th September Andrew was inducted as part of a wonderful service of praise and thanksgiving. Chris Justice from Hope Church in Beaconsfield, who was our excellent…
