Lamentation
It is perhaps too easy to minimise the grief and suffering that people are going through, and to try instead to “move on”. In this short video Christine talks about the language of lamentation during this time of pandemic.

The body of Christ
Continuing our theme of “where do I fit”, on 12th July we discussed Paul’s writing on the body in 1 Corinthians 12.
Communion
As lockdown started to ease a few small groups were able to meet in gardens to share communion, connected to others in their homes via Zoom. In this short recording Andrew speaks about the importance of communion together.
Identity
On 28th June Chris Justice spoke about how we get our identity as adopted children of God. The talk starts with a reading from John 1:1-14.
The persecuted church
On 21st June we spent the service hearing about the persecution of the church and praying for our brothers and sisters who live in deeply challenging conditions.
