Be strong and put your trust in me
On 29th September, Chris Justice shared his testimony of his experiences over the last few months as he underwent radiotherapy, and how God had said to him, “Be strong and put your trust in me”.
Heart check-up
On 25th August Gill and Clive led another of our informal Sunday services for August. Gill spoke on getting our hearts checked: are our hearts in the right place for God. During the talk she played a video of a flashmob which you can see here:
An undivided heart
On Sunday 18th August our service was led by Barry and Janice’s housegroup based around the request of David in Psalm 86 to “give me an undivided heart”. Tim spoke about the experience of the Holy Spirit.
Praise the Lord!
This ‘Psalm’ was written by the congregation at the morning service, 29th July 2018 led by the Stable Lane Housegroup. The service focused on Psalms 149 and 150. We heard a reading of Psalm 150 from the NIV bible and a modern rewriting of Psalm 149. We were then invited to write a simple ‘praise phrase’ or exhortation.
